SUMMARY:Warhammer Underworlds Ladder League
DESCRIPTION:Introducing a new league format to club nights\, a Ladder League! Perfect for both new and existing players\, this league will test your mastery of the Underworlds. \n\n\n\n\nLeague Essentials\n\n\n\nWhen: Starting from December 1st until April 30th \n\n\n\nWhere: Hull’s Angels Tabletop Gaming Club \n\n\n\nOrganiser: Adam S \n\n\n\nGame Format: Warhammer: Underworlds \n\n\n\nNumber of games: ongoing \n\n\n\nPainting requirement: none \n\n\n\n\n\nWhat You’ll Need\n\n\n\n\nA Warhammer Underworlds warband and Rivals Deck.\n\n\n\nDice\, tokens and a board – the club will have some spares available for players to use.\n\n\n\nThe core rules available in the Embergard starter set or on Warhammer Community.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHow it Works\n\n\n\n\nUpon purchasing your ticket you’ll be sent a registration form to register your name and which Warband you’re using (this can change during the league).\n\n\n\nChallenge someone on the ladder! (see below).\n\n\n\nAfter completing your game\, scan the QR code at the club and log your results. These will appear on the website live after submission!\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLeague Format\n\n\n\n\nThere is no limit to the number of games you can play during the Ladder League\, your score is averaged to stop people who play more simply rising to the top.\n\n\n\nAt the end of each game\, you’ll score the following League Points:\n\nWin – 3pts\n\n\n\nDraw – 2pts\n\n\n\nLoss – 1pts\n\n\n\nYour Average Glory from the games will then be added to your average League points score to give you a Ladder Score.For example\, if Adam had played 3 games\, won two of them and lost one\, and scored 11\, 10 and 9 glory in each of them his Ladder score would be 12.3 (6 points for two wins\, one point for a loss\, divided by 3 total games\, plus his averaged score of 10 glory. If he adds another loss to his record\, his Ladder Score would go down.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLadder League Challenges!\n\n\n\n\nAt the start of the league\, players already signed up will be randomly assigned a place on the ladder. Then after the start date if you sign up you’ll join the bottom level of the ladder.\n\n\n\nThe ladder is broken down into levels. With each level having the same number of players as its level number (level 2 has 2 players\, level 3 has 3 and so on)\n\n\n\nYou can issue a challenge to anyone who is higher in the same level or the level above. The best place to issue a challenge is via our Facebook Community chats.\n\n\n\nAs the ladder is using our Live Results system there’s a chance that the players positions on the ladder move around based on other results as they’re inputted. If a challenge has been issued and accepted it can still be played regardless of any changes to the Ladder. \n\n\n\nChallenges should be accepted where possible. If someone is avoiding games or isn’t responding please let us know.\n\n\n\nYou can accept multiple challenges at once – the idea of the ladder is to get people to play games!\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSponsored by Mighty Lancer Games!\n\n\n\nOur local friendly gaming store in Bridlington has kindly donated two Warhammer Underworld Organised Play packs to use during this league! We’ll be distributing prizes randomly throughout the league\, with the trophy going to the person in the top spot at the end of April! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEntry Cost\n\n\n\n\nA £6 entry cost is required to take part – this goes towards prize support and keeping the lights on!\n\n\n\nRegular club entry fees will apply as standard each time you visit to play a game.\n\n\n\nYou can sign up at any point during the ladder league!\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nQuestions?\n\n\n\nIf you’ve got any questions about this league please get in touch! \n\n\n\n\n\nAbout the Venue\n\n\n\nHull’s Angels Tabletop Gaming Club is ran by the community\, for the community. Our committee members and event organisers are all volunteers\, which helps keep our entry fees low.  \n\n\n\nOur goal is the make the gaming community in Hull and East Yorkshire the best it can be\, and offer a safe and comfortable environment for everyone to enjoy with great facilities.  \n\n\n\nFood and Drinks\n\n\n\nThe club has a front counter which sells hot and cold drinks\, snacks\, hobby supplies\, dice\, and sprays! All sales from these help keep the club open. \n\n\n\nAge Restrictions\n\n\n\nLeagues follow our standard club night restrictions on ages. \n\n\n\nDisabled Access\n\n\n\nThe club is situated on the first floor up a flight of stairs. Unfortunately we have no disabled access right now – this is something we’re working on. \n\n\n\nEach of gaming tables are designed to be stood at while playing\, or sat on stools at. DESCRIPTION:HABBL-MAS is a fun focussed Blood Bowl tournament with a few additional festive twists. We’ll be providing the pitches\, so all you need to bring is your team\, some festive spirit\, and some luck!With the new edition potentially definitely coming out before this event\, this could be your first event using the shiny new rules – a Christmas gift indeed! \n\n\n\n\nEvent Essentials\n\n\n\nWhen: Sunday 7th December 2025 from 9:00am \n\n\n\nWhere: Hull’s Angels Tabletop Gaming Club \n\n\n\nOrganiser: TimDaBoss \n\n\n\nGame Format: Blood Bowl 11’s \n\n\n\nTeam Draft Budget: A generous 1.4 million Gold Pieces to allow you to use all of your toys! \n\n\n\nSkill Selection: Standard Matched Play Skill Selection \n\n\n\nNumber of games: Three \n\n\n\nPainting requirement: Fully painted teams \n\n\n\nSwag: Everyone will receive a swag bag which includes a pair of HABBL-MAS dice and other goodies! \n\n\n\nFestive Twists!\n\n\n\nUpon arrival you’ll be given a Naughty or Nice swag bag –  inside there will be some additional festive twists that add to the games\, most won’t influence your team draft too much but as this one does\, we’re giving you a sneak peak so you can make the most of them: \n\n\n\nSnowballs!At the start of each drive\, give one player a Snowball-Bomb token. While that players has the token they may use the Throw Bomb special action. Once the player has thrown their bomb\, remove the token. (The token will be in your Swag Bag – we recommend you have someone with a decent passing ability to make the most of it!) \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDoughnald Star Player! \n\n\n\nEach player will receive a Doughnald star player\, he’s not part of your roster and is set up every drive regardless of how many times he’s been reduced to a pile of crumbs!
