SUMMARY:Blood Bowl League Season Six!
DESCRIPTION:Welcome back sports fans to another season of Hull’s Angels Blood Bowl League (HABBL for short)! \n\n\n\nIf you’re a returning veteran of the gridiron\, or you have a sparkly clean uniform\, everyone is welcome to take part! \n\n\n\nWe have a great Blood Bowl community at the club\, with players traveling from all over to take part in our events – take a look at our Hall of Fame!   \n\n\n\nEach round your team will grow\, gain skills\, and probably suffer some injuries\, in the quest to win the Season 6 trophy! \n\n\n\n\nLeague Essentials\n\n\n\nWhen: Starting from September 7th \n\n\n\nWhere: Hull’s Angels Tabletop Gaming Club \n\n\n\nOrganiser: Adam \n\n\n\nGame Format: Blood Bowl  \n\n\n\nTeam Draft Budget: Standard 1 Million Gold pieces \n\n\n\nNumber of games: Minimum of 5\, with 3 week rounds to get your game organised and played. \n\n\n\nWhat you’ll need: A Team\, Dice\, and the latest rulebook (released Nov 2025). The club has plenty of pitches for you to use! \n\n\n\nHow it works: Each round we’ll let you know who your opponent is\, you’ll have 3 weeks to organise and play your game. Results are reported in the club via a QR code and appear live on the site. \n\n\n\nYour entry ticket gets you into the league and goes towards prize support and swag – normal club fees apply each time you visit. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSeason Six Rules\n\n\n\nRounds\n\n\n\nEach round we’ll let you know who your opponent is\, you’ll have 3 weeks to organise and play your game. Results are reported in the club via a QR code and appear live on the site. \n\n\n\nDrafting a Blood Bowl Team\n\n\n\nFollow the standard rules for drafting a team on pages 84 – 91 of the rulebook. As this is a new edition there will be no redrafting from season four. \n\n\n\nLeague Play Rules\n\n\n\nFollow the standard rules for playing league games as per pages 93 – 101 of the rulebook. \n\n\n\nLeague Scoring\n\n\n\nTeams will gain League Points as followed: \n\n\n\n\nWin : 3pts\n\n\n\nDraw: 1pts\n\n\n\nLoss: 0pts\n\n\n\n\nAdditionally the following bonus points will be available and added to your League points. They will also be used as first decider: \n\n\n\n\nScore 3 or more touchdowns : 1pts\n\n\n\nConcede 0 touchdowns: 1pts\n\n\n\nCause 3 or more casualties: 1pts\n\n\n\n\nRecord Keeping\n\n\n\nIt is a coaches responsibility to properly keep a record of their team(s) during the league(s). This can be done on paper or electronically. If you need any support on this please talk to the League Commissioner. \n\n\n\nDivisions and Play-offs\n\n\n\nDepending on the number of coaches taking part there may be multiple divisions. The top teams from the division(s) will qualify for the Play-offs\, which is a knockout series of games to see who is the season 5 champion! \n\n\n\nFailure to Play Rules\n\n\n\nIf a game doesn’t happen within the two week period the League Commissioners will judge the penalty based on a Failure to Play (FTP) fault scoring system. Each fault (e.g.\, not communicating in a timely manner\, not showing up\, cancelling the game last minute) will add to that coaches FTP score. The coach with the higher FTP score will suffer a loss. The severity of the loss will be based on the difference in the scores. \n\n\n\n\nIf there is no difference between the FTP scores (both coaches were equally to blame) the game will be a 0-0 draw\, with no bonus points\, MVP or winnings for either coach.\n\n\n\nA difference of 1 between the FTP scores will result in a 1–0 win\, with 1 bonus point\, 50k winnings\, and an MVP awarded to the coach with the lower FTP score.\n\n\n\nA difference of 2 or more between the FTP scores will result in a 2–0 win\, with 1 bonus point\, 60k winnings\, and 2 MVP’s awarded to the coach with the lower FTP score.\n\n\n\n\nOf course\, sometimes there are exceptional circumstances that cannot be avoided. The League commissioners will be more lenient to faults outside of the coaches control\, such as illness and emergencies. \n\n\n\nFriendlies\n\n\n\nCoaches may play any number of friendly games as per page 103 of the rulebook (the games have no impact on the league). These results don’t need to be submitted. \n\n\n\nDropouts\n\n\n\nIf any coaches drop out during the league\, the remainder of their games will become byes for the other coaches (Unless a replacement can be sourced)\, counting as 2(0) – (0)0 win as described in the Failure to Play section. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nQuestions?\n\n\n\nIf you’ve got any questions about this league please get in touch! \n\n\n\n\n\nAbout the Venue\n\n\n\nHull’s Angels Tabletop Gaming Club is ran by the community\, for the community. Our committee members and event organisers are all volunteers\, which helps keep our entry fees low.  \n\n\n\nOur goal is the make the gaming community in Hull and East Yorkshire the best it can be\, and offer a safe and comfortable environment for everyone to enjoy with great facilities.  \n\n\n\nFood and Drinks\n\n\n\nThe club has a front counter which sells hot and cold drinks\, snacks\, hobby supplies\, dice\, and sprays! All sales from these help keep the club open. \n\n\n\nAge Restrictions\n\n\n\nLeagues follow our standard club night restrictions on ages. \n\n\n\nDisabled Access\n\n\n\nThe club is situated on the first floor up a flight of stairs. Unfortunately we have no disabled access right now – this is something we’re working on. \n\n\n\nEach of gaming tables are designed to be stood at while playing\, or sat on stools at. If you have accessibility requirements and would prefer a lower table with chairs please let us know and we can provide one for your visit. \n\n\n\nFacilities\n\n\n\nThe club has toilet facilities for both male\, female and disabled visitors. \n\n\n\nWhere to Find Us and Parking\n\n\n\nInformation on the best places to park can be found here \n\n\n\n\n	\n		\n\n	\n\n\n\n\n	\n\n\n\n\nRefund Policy\n\n\n\nTickets can be refunded up to 7 days before the league starts unless the league is cancelled\, where a full refund will be issued.
