SUMMARY:Warhammer Underworlds Ladder League
DESCRIPTION:Introducing a new league format to club nights\, a Ladder League! Perfect for both new and existing players\, this league will test your mastery of the Underworlds. \n\n\n\n\nLeague Essentials\n\n\n\nWhen: Starting from December 1st until April 30th \n\n\n\nWhere: Hull’s Angels Tabletop Gaming Club \n\n\n\nOrganiser: Adam S \n\n\n\nGame Format: Warhammer: Underworlds \n\n\n\nNumber of games: ongoing \n\n\n\nPainting requirement: none \n\n\n\n\n\nWhat You’ll Need\n\n\n\n\nA Warhammer Underworlds warband and Rivals Deck.\n\n\n\nDice\, tokens and a board – the club will have some spares available for players to use.\n\n\n\nThe core rules available in the Embergard starter set or on Warhammer Community.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHow it Works\n\n\n\n\nUpon purchasing your ticket you’ll be sent a registration form to register your name and which Warband you’re using (this can change during the league).\n\n\n\nChallenge someone on the ladder! (see below).\n\n\n\nAfter completing your game\, scan the QR code at the club and log your results. These will appear on the website live after submission!\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLeague Format\n\n\n\n\nThere is no limit to the number of games you can play during the Ladder League\, your score is averaged to stop people who play more simply rising to the top.\n\n\n\nAt the end of each game\, you’ll score the following League Points:\n\nWin – 3pts\n\n\n\nDraw – 2pts\n\n\n\nLoss – 1pts\n\n\n\nYour Average Glory from the games will then be added to your average League points score to give you a Ladder Score.For example\, if Adam had played 3 games\, won two of them and lost one\, and scored 11\, 10 and 9 glory in each of them his Ladder score would be 12.3 (6 points for two wins\, one point for a loss\, divided by 3 total games\, plus his averaged score of 10 glory. If he adds another loss to his record\, his Ladder Score would go down.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLadder League Challenges!\n\n\n\n\nAt the start of the league\, players already signed up will be randomly assigned a place on the ladder. Then after the start date if you sign up you’ll join the bottom level of the ladder.\n\n\n\nThe ladder is broken down into levels. With each level having the same number of players as its level number (level 2 has 2 players\, level 3 has 3 and so on)\n\n\n\nYou can issue a challenge to anyone who is higher in the same level or the level above. The best place to issue a challenge is via our Facebook Community chats.\n\n\n\nAs the ladder is using our Live Results system there’s a chance that the players positions on the ladder move around based on other results as they’re inputted. If a challenge has been issued and accepted it can still be played regardless of any changes to the Ladder. \n\n\n\nChallenges should be accepted where possible. If someone is avoiding games or isn’t responding please let us know.\n\n\n\nYou can accept multiple challenges at once – the idea of the ladder is to get people to play games!\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSponsored by Mighty Lancer Games!\n\n\n\nOur local friendly gaming store in Bridlington has kindly donated two Warhammer Underworld Organised Play packs to use during this league! For the season rule “Regimented Forces”\, the TEAM with the most regiments gains the once per battle priority reroll. \n\n\n\n2. During list building\, only one Manifestation lore can be taken by the TEAM. If a faction Manifestation lore is taken\, only wizards from that faction may cast manifestians from that lore. If a Universal Manifestation lore is chosen\, spells can be cast by either players wizards.  \n\n\n\n3. If the universal Manifestation lore has a points cost\, this can be taken from either player’s 1\,000pts. Or both players could contribute pts to this cost (both players build a 990pt list and take a 20pt lore between them). \n\n\n\n4. Our committee members and event organisers are all volunteers\, which helps keep our entry fees low.  \n\n\n\nOur goal is the make the gaming community in Hull and East Yorkshire the best it can be\, and offer a safe and comfortable environment for everyone to enjoy with great facilities.  \n\n\n\nFood and Drinks\n\n\n\nFood will not be provided for this event\, however the club is located right in the middle of Hull City Center which is home to all kinds of bars\, restaurants and takeaways.The club has a front counter which sells hot and cold drinks\, snacks\, hobby supplies\, dice\, and sprays! All sales from these help keep the club open. \n\n\n\nAge Restrictions\n\n\n\nTo attend an event you must be 18 or over.  \n\n\n\nDisabled Access\n\n\n\nThe club is situated on the first floor up a flight of stairs. Unfortunately we have no disabled access right now – this is something we’re working on. \n\n\n\nEach of gaming tables are designed to be stood at while playing\, or sat on stools at. If you have accessibility requirements and would prefer a lower table with chairs please let us know and we can provide one for your visit. \n\n\n\nFacilities\n\n\n\nThe club has toilet facilities for both male\, female and disabled visitors. \n\n\n\nWhere to Find Us and Parking\n\n\n\nInformation on the best places to park for the event can be found here \n\n\n\n\n	\n		\n\n	\n\n\n\n\n	\n\n\n\n\nRefund Policy\n\n\n\nTickets can be refunded up to 7 days before the event starts unless the event is cancelled\, where a full refund will be issued. Our aim is to create a relaxed\, social event whilst still encouraging spicy competitive play and mixing in whole host of shenanigans!  We have a heavy emphasis on giving out as many prizes and awards to all you lovely folk as possible however lets just say some are much more desirable than others … \n\n\n\nThis isn’t just your standard event with 5 games of Age of Sigmar. We will be causing plenty of mischief in between and during games to keep you all entertained! If taking part in the carnage isnt for you then just sit back and watch the mayham unfold! \n\n\n\nLast year’s Jamboree was an absolute blast! We loved running the event and got a load of great feedback! This year it’s going to be bigger\, better and we will be causing even more carnage!!!
