SUMMARY:Winter of Betrayal - Horus Heresy League
DESCRIPTION:Join us for our Winter Horus Heresy League. This League will focus heavily on player experience where you will be rewarded for the quality of your tactics and hobby skills over any competitive elements. You might win all 4 games\, but that does not guarantee victory and the admiration of your fellow hobbyists in the grand scheme of things… \n\n\n\n\nLeague Essentials\n\n\n\nWhen: November 2026 – February 2027 \n\n\n\nWhere: Hull’s Angels Tabletop Gaming Club \n\n\n\nOrganiser: Chris B \n\n\n\nGame Format: Horus Heresy \n\n\n\nPoints: 1\,500 – 3\,000 \n\n\n\nMissions: Provided each round \n\n\n\nNumber of games: 4 over 4 months. \n\n\n\nPainting requirement: None\, but bonus points available! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nScoring & List Building\n\n\n\nGame result: 2pts for a win\, 1pt for a draw or a loss \n\n\n\nGame Rating: On a scale of 1-5 points (with 5 being the highest). Use this score to reward your opponent on their conduct/list construction. For example\, did the army buy into the theme of the legion? Was their list fair and balanced\, fun and whacky? Did you both enjoy the game and can’t wait to play again! \n\n\n\nHobby Rating: On a scale of 1-5 points (with 5 being the highest). Use this score to reward your opponent on the quality of their hobby! Be it a fully painted army (They do exist!)\, a stunning conversion\, theme or WIP piece\, the choice is yours on what to single out and reward. \n\n\n\nList construction:– All forces will use the rules within the main rulebook to construct their forces. For exampleCrusade Primary Detachment and then add other available detachments. \n\n\n\n– All available detachments/units are welcome\, including those from Journals and FAQs.As this is aimed at new and returning players alike\, to make things easily agreeable\, 1500 points shall be the minimum agreed points level played\, unless players agree otherwise\, up to a maximum of 3000 points. If players cannot agree on a shared points value for the game\, the game will default to 1500 points. Feel free to swap between factions and allies across your games\, providing everything follows standard rules for doing so. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nPrize support:Certificates and trophies for the top 3 players in the league and the coveted wooden spoon for the player who finishes last! \n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nQuestions?\n\n\n\nIf you’ve got any questions about this league please get in touch! \n\n\n\n\n\nAbout the Venue\n\n\n\nHull’s Angels Tabletop Gaming Club is ran by the community\, for the community. Our committee members and event organisers are all volunteers\, which helps keep our entry fees low.  \n\n\n\nOur goal is the make the gaming community in Hull and East Yorkshire the best it can be\, and offer a safe and comfortable environment for everyone to enjoy with great facilities.  \n\n\n\nFood and Drinks\n\n\n\nThe club has a front counter which sells hot and cold drinks\, snacks\, hobby supplies\, dice\, and sprays! All sales from these help keep the club open. \n\n\n\nAge Restrictions\n\n\n\nLeagues follow our standard club night restrictions on ages. \n\n\n\nDisabled Access\n\n\n\nThe club is situated on the first floor up a flight of stairs. Unfortunately we have no disabled access right now – this is something we’re working on. \n\n\n\nEach of gaming tables are designed to be stood at while playing\, or sat on stools at. If you have accessibility requirements and would prefer a lower table with chairs please let us know and we can provide one for your visit. \n\n\n\nFacilities\n\n\n\nThe club has toilet facilities for both male\, female and disabled visitors. \n\n\n\nWhere to Find Us and Parking\n\n\n\nInformation on the best places to park can be found here \n\n\n\n\n	\n \n\n	\n\n\n\n\n	\n\n\n\n\nRefund Policy\n\n\n\nTickets can be refunded up to 7 days before the league starts unless the league is cancelled\, where a full refund will be issued. Hull’s Angels is not responsible for any additional costs (such as travel or accommodation) that may occur if an event is cancelled. To request a refund please contact us.
