DESCRIPTION:Introducing a new league format to club nights\, a Ladder League! Perfect for both new and existing players\, this league will test your mastery of the Underworlds. \n\n\n\n\nLeague Essentials\n\n\n\nWhen: Starting from December 1st until April 30th \n\n\n\nWhere: Hull’s Angels Tabletop Gaming Club \n\n\n\nOrganiser: Adam S \n\n\n\nGame Format: Warhammer: Underworlds \n\n\n\nNumber of games: ongoing \n\n\n\nPainting requirement: none \n\n\n\n\n\nWhat You’ll Need\n\n\n\n\nA Warhammer Underworlds warband and Rivals Deck.\n\n\n\nDice\, tokens and a board – the club will have some spares available for players to use.\n\n\n\nThe core rules available in the Embergard starter set or on Warhammer Community.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHow it Works\n\n\n\n\nUpon purchasing your ticket you’ll be sent a registration form to register your name and which Warband you’re using (this can change during the league).\n\n\n\nChallenge someone on the ladder! (see below).\n\n\n\nAfter completing your game\, scan the QR code at the club and log your results. These will appear on the website live after submission!\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLeague Format\n\n\n\n\nThere is no limit to the number of games you can play during the Ladder League\, your score is averaged to stop people who play more simply rising to the top.\n\n\n\nAt the end of each game\, you’ll score the following League Points:\n\nWin – 3pts\n\n\n\nDraw – 2pts\n\n\n\nLoss – 1pts\n\n\n\nYour Average Glory from the games will then be added to your average League points score to give you a Ladder Score.For example\, if Adam had played 3 games\, won two of them and lost one\, and scored 11\, 10 and 9 glory in each of them his Ladder score would be 12.3 (6 points for two wins\, one point for a loss\, divided by 3 total games\, plus his averaged score of 10 glory. If he adds another loss to his record\, his Ladder Score would go down.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLadder League Challenges!\n\n\n\n\nAt the start of the league\, players already signed up will be randomly assigned a place on the ladder. Then after the start date if you sign up you’ll join the bottom level of the ladder.\n\n\n\nThe ladder is broken down into levels. With each level having the same number of players as its level number (level 2 has 2 players\, level 3 has 3 and so on)\n\n\n\nYou can issue a challenge to anyone who is higher in the same level or the level above. The best place to issue a challenge is via our Facebook Community chats.\n\n\n\nAs the ladder is using our Live Results system there’s a chance that the players positions on the ladder move around based on other results as they’re inputted. If a challenge has been issued and accepted it can still be played regardless of any changes to the Ladder. \n\n\n\nChallenges should be accepted where possible. If someone is avoiding games or isn’t responding please let us know.\n\n\n\nYou can accept multiple challenges at once – the idea of the ladder is to get people to play games!\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSponsored by Mighty Lancer Games!\n\n\n\nOur local friendly gaming store in Bridlington has kindly donated two Warhammer Underworld Organised Play packs to use during this league! Continue the story of Sephirus and impact what happens in our next narrative campaign day event! \n\n\n\n\nEvent Essentials\n\n\n\nWhen: Saturday 20th December 2025 from 8am \n\n\n\nWhere: Hull’s Angels Tabletop Gaming Club \n\n\n\nOrganiser: Tom H \n\n\n\nGame Format: Warhammer 40\,000 \n\n\n\nNumber of games: One big one! \n\n\n\nPainting requirement: Fully painted and based \n\n\n\n\n\nWhat You’ll Need\n\n\n\n\nEach player brings roughly 4000-5000 points of their army.\n\n\n\nThe game uses open war narrative rules and so you may bring whatever you like – there is no rule of three. You may bring models from different codexes/indexes if you wish but they must still all fit into either xenos\, imperium or chaos. Every model from one codex/index must use the same detachment e.g. all your space marines must use the Gladius detachment (if that’s what you pick) and you may not use any other for any other space marines you bring.\n\n\n\nEach player will have one warlord (pick the character that makes the most sense narratively). Each team will also select a warmaster\, who is in overall command of the team.\n\n\n\nYour army must be fully painted and correctly based.\n\n\n\nThis is a narrative mission about the story of your characters. Therefore\, you may not bring named characters (e.g. no primarchs). Each team will secretly select a number of minutes from 1 to 20. This is how much time they will have to set up their entire army. The team on each board with the lowest number will go first. Any units not set up in time are placed in strategic reserve.\n\n\n\nUnits coming in from strategic reserves may enter from any board edge and in the enemy deployment zone at any turn. All reserves must be on the table by the end of Turn 3 or count as destroyed. The team going second may bring in reserves from Turn 1.\n\n\n\nAircraft may start the game on the board\, deployed as normal.\n\n\n\nThe following stratagems may not be used: command re-roll\, counter-offensive\, insane bravery\, fire overwatch\, rapid ingress.\n\n\n\nEach player will be given 20 command points at the start of the game. You may not generate more for any reason.\n\n\n\nYou may use the same stratagem more than once in a phase. However\, the cost of this stratagem doubles each time you use it. (e.g. a 1cp stratagem will cost 2cp the second time\, 4 the third etc…)\n\n\n\nYou may not be available to watch dice rolls done against your units but someone from your team must watch every enemy dice roll. Unless you give permission\, you should roll all saves for your own units. You may also allow others to move\, fire and even charge/fight with your units if you wish.\n\n\n\nThe game is designed to be fun for all players\, so the organiser may make changes throughout the game to keep things fun\, for example I may allow a player to bring on dead units if they are losing their whole army. \n\n\n\n\nVictory Conditions \n\n\n\n\nThere are a number of objective markers on each board. Players that hold an objective at the end of their command phase earn their team 5 Victory Points if it is your deployment zone\, 10 victory points if it is in no man’s land and 15 victory points if it is the enemy deployment zone.\n\n\n\nKilling an enemy Warlord is worth 10 victory points and killing the enemy war master is worth 20 victory points.\n\n\n\nEach player will also have a secret objective. If they manage to keep this secret and achieve this by the end of the game\, each one is worth 10 victory points.\n\n\n\nThe team with the most victory points at the end of the game wins.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEvent Schedule\n\n\n\n8.00 – 8.30 – arrive and get your army ready in a staging zone \n\n\n\n8.30 – 9.15 – Briefing and deployment \n\n\n\n9.15 – 12.00 – Game \n\n\n\n12.00 – 12.30 – Lunch \n\n\n\n12.30 – 20.00 – Game \n\n\n\n20.00 – End of the game \n\n\n\nThe game ends if any of these requirements are met: \n\n\n\n\nFive turns for all teams are completed.\n\n\n\nIt reaches 20.00\n\n\n\nThe outcome is obvious and the majority vote to end the game\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nQuestions?\n\n\n\nIf you’ve got any questions about this event that aren’t answered in the event pack or below\, please get in touch! \n\n\n\n\n\nAbout the Venue\n\n\n\nHull’s Angels Tabletop Gaming Club is ran by the community\, for the community. You will want to ensure you have scoring units. \n\n\n\nYou may select your army from any army book\, legacy army or arcane journal. \n\n\n\nYour entire army must follow the normal rules of list building for Warhammer: The Old World with the following exceptions: \n\n\n\nWe are using both the Grand Mele and Combined Arms restrictions found in the matched play guide. These override any rules found in your army book (e.g. you may only have two cannons no matter what). \n\n\n\nYou may not take any named character – this campaign is about making your own character\, not using one made by Games Workshop already. \n\n\n\nYou may have a maximum of one character riding a large target. \n\n\n\nYou must have at least 35% of your army spent on core units. (700 points) \n\n\n\nYou may have a maximum of 40% of your army spent on characters. (800 points) \n\n\n\nYou may not select the magic item\, the talisman of protection. \n\n\n\nAll common magic items are no longer common. \n\n\n\nIf a unit can be taken as both a mount for a character and a special or rare slot then it still counts as a special or rare choice for working out the combined arms restrictions. (E.G. If you have a ghoul king on a terrorgheist then you may only take one more terrorgheist.) \n\n\n\nThis event is a narrative event but will use all recent army books\, arcane journals\, FAQs\, and balance sheets.The renegade legends rules are not being used at this event. \n\n\n\nMercenaries and allies are allowed at this event – as long as they are used for narrative reasons. \n\n\n\nTo keep the feel of the event\, all lists must be submitted on BCP no later than 1 week before the event and the GM may ask you to make alterations to your list to avoid unbalanced games. \n\n\n\nIt is highly recommended that you bring a balanced force as these missions will require different forces to succeed in. SUMMARY:Mordheim - Hull: City of the damned
DESCRIPTION:Return to the City of the Damned and lead your warband into brutal\, bloody skirmishes in our two-day Mordheim Narrative Campaign Event! \n\n\n\nWe’ll be using the Core Rules\, 2002 Annual and official Errata\, alongside our own house rules developed from previous Hull’s Angels\, City of The Damned events. The final event pack is currently under development. We’ll share any additional permitted warbands\, rules sources and house rules in April. \n\n\n\nAll updates will be emailed to ticket holders\, so please ensure that the Hull’s Angels email address does not end up in your junk/spam folder.Additionally\, we will add the relevant rules decisions onto this page. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nQuestions?\n\n\n\nIf you’ve got any questions about this event that aren’t answered in the event pack or below\, please get in touch! \n\n\n\n\n\nAbout the Venue\n\n\n\nHull’s Angels Tabletop Gaming Club is ran by the community\, for the community. Our committee members and event organisers are all volunteers\, which helps keep our entry fees low.  \n\n\n\nOur goal is the make the gaming community in Hull and East Yorkshire the best it can be\, and offer a safe and comfortable environment for everyone to enjoy with great facilities.  \n\n\n\nFood and Drinks\n\n\n\nFood will not be provided for this event\, however the club is located right in the middle of Hull City Center which is home to all kinds of bars\, restaurants and takeaways.The club has a front counter which sells hot and cold drinks\, snacks\, hobby supplies\, dice\, and sprays! All sales from these help keep the club open. \n\n\n\nAge Restrictions\n\n\n\nTo attend an event you must be 18 or over.  \n\n\n\nDisabled Access\n\n\n\nThe club is situated on the first floor up a flight of stairs. Unfortunately we have no disabled access right now – this is something we’re working on. \n\n\n\nEach of gaming tables are designed to be stood at while playing\, or sat on stools at. If you turn up after the safety briefing at the start of the event\, you may be turned away without a refund.
