The Horus Heresy: Couples counselling on the road to Terra!
August 8 @ 8:30 am – 6:30 pm
No war is fought alone. Not for long.
In the brutal battlefields of the Age of Darkness, survival is rarely earned by a single commander. Here, alliances are not luxuries they are necessities forged in fire, trust, and bloodshed.
This doubles event challenges two warlords to fight as one. Your strategies must align, your strengths must complement one another, and your weaknesses will be laid bare before both ally and enemy alike.
Across three brutal engagements fought over sprawling battlefields, coordination will be everything. The enemy will not come at you in half measures, and hesitation will be punished without mercy. A single mistake, a missed opportunity, or a fractured battle plan can bring an entire alliance crashing down.
Trust will be tested.
Plans will unravel.
And amidst the chaos of war, only those who can adapt, communicate, and overcome together will emerge victorious.
Victory is not won by one voice shouting louder than the rest, but by two commanders acting in perfect accord.
Bring your armies.
Stand beside your ally.
And prove your bond can weather the fires of the Horus Heresy.
Because doubles in a Heresy setting? You absolutely love to see it.

Doubles Event Rules
To keep gameplay fast, balanced, and enjoyable throughout the day, the following doubles-specific rules will apply:

For this event, standard Allies rules are replaced with the following simplified system:
- Both players on a team must share the same allegiance:

- Aura and command abilities do not transfer between allied armies
- Characters may only join units from their own force
- Units and abilities may only affect models from their owning playerโs army
Example:

Battle Ready Standard
All armies must meet a minimum Battle Ready standard.
This means your force is fully assembled, painted, and based to a clear tabletop standard:
- Minimum of 2 colours
- Finished base required
A simple example:
- Black undercoat
- Red painted eye lenses
- Grass or textured base
Simple, effective, and ready for war.
We strongly encourage players to bring fully painted, thematic, and narrative-driven armies. Events are always more immersive when every force looks the part and hobby-focused awards may favour teams who fully embrace the spirit of the setting.

- Most Bloodthirsty Highest VP scored in a single game
