Welcome to the first of many Warhammer: The Horus Heresy – Age of Darkness events! Our inaugural event is an Beginner’s evening, designed to help both returning veterans and brand-new players immerse themselves in the rich universe of the Horus Heresy.
Whether you’re taking your first steps into the game or looking to refresh your knowledge of the rules, this event is the perfect opportunity to do so in a supportive and fun environment.
Whether you’re a seasoned warrior or a newcomer eager to join the battle, this Intro Night is a great way to dive into the Horus Heresy. Get your free ticket, bring your enthusiasm, and prepare for an epic journey into the Age of Darkness!

Game Format: Warhammer: The Horus Heresy – Age of Darkness

What You Need to Bring:
Returning Players:
- Army: Bring a small force of 1500 points.
- Game Plan: You’ll be paired with another returning player for some casual games with experienced players on hand to assist with rules, setup, and strategy.
New Players:
- Army List: Prepare a 500-point list with the following units:
- 1x Delegatus
- 2x 10-man Tactical Squads
- 1x Legion Cataphractii Terminator Squad (5)
- This list is designed to help you focus on the core mechanics of the game, allowing you to learn without the added complexity of advanced rules.
Miniatures:
If you don’t have your own miniatures or are unsure about
committing, don’t worry we’ve got you covered! Our veteran players have extra miniatures available for use, so feel free to sign up even if you’re on the fence and we’ll provide everything you need for the event.
