Useful Information

Pairings

At the end of each month (typically the last friday) we’ll publish the pairings for the next round. You then have the full month to organise your game with your opponent. The first round pairings will go live on Friday 3rd, ready for you to organise your games from Tuesday 7th January onwards.

Reporting Games

There won’t be any need to report your games as you play them. The reward for finishing the league is your (hopefully) painted collection, the experience from playing the games, and the new friends you’ve made along the way! There will be a completion certificate for anyone who makes it to the end and some signup swag for those who started.

Organising Games

The best way to organise your game is via our dedicated Facebook Community Chat:
https://m.me/ch/AbZggzm_j69akEhy/

However, if you can’t get hold of your opponent, send the club a message/email or tag Tim Davis or Benjamin Taylor in the chat.

The club is open every Tuesday and Thursday 6pm to 10pm. There are sometimes weekend openings – these will be published on the website and on facebook in advance.

First Time at the Club?

If you’ve not been to the club before, or haven’t been for a while, below is what to do when you arrive:

  1. Sign in – upon arrival, visit the counter to pay your entry fee for the evening and scan the QR code on the counter to sign yourself in (this is for fire safety).
  2. Find a table/opponent – If you’re the first to arrive, simply grab a table and some scenery ready to set up for your game. The first few rounds use half of a standard board so if you’re able to share the board with someone else from the league that will go a long way to help us manage to space better. If you need to check if your opponent has arrived simply ask at the counter.
  3. Tidying up – once you’ve finished your game put the scenery back where you found it, put any rubbish in the appropraite bins.

Questions

If you’re unsure of anything, feel free to send the club an email, message, or ask at the counter and one of committee members will do their best to help!
