The Great Iron Wall has been breached near ancient Verdun, and all factions converge on this strategic gap. Over 13 weeks, your warband will fight through four escalating phases of the Verdun Salient Campaign—from desperate raids on scattered supplies to claiming mystical relics, establishing territorial dominance, and finally facing the ancient guardian that protects the buried secrets. The campaign culminates in an epic multiplayer siege of Verdun Cathedral itself, where the fate of the front will be decided. With this campaign, we’ll march into the world of Trench Crusade together.

Finale: The Great War – “Siege of Verdun Cathedral”
The Finale
The blood-soaked campaign through the Verdun Salient has reached its inevitable, apocalyptic climax. For three long months, your warband has clawed its way across the shattered earth—securing vital supplies, seizing cursed relics, wrestling control of No Man’s Land, and finally slaying the ancient guardian of the buried secrets. Now, with the path clear, all factions converge on the ancient, haunted spire: Verdun Cathedral. The final, desperate siege begins, and within its hallowed, corpse-strewn walls, the fate of the entire front will be decided in this ultimate, glorious battle.
We’ve now reached the finale of our Trench Crusade campaign! This involves one big game with two sides using The Great War mission rules (Pg. 194).
Players will be randomly assigned to one of the two sides. We will be playing this on a club night, starting at 6.30PM.
Please use the form below to select the dates you’re available to play and we will aim to schedule it on a night with the most players in!
Useful Information
Pairings
On the last Wednesday in each round we’ll publish the pairings for the next round. You then have three weeks to organise your game with your opponent.
Reporting Games
There is no need to report games during this campaign. Each player is responsible for keeping track of their own warband.
Organising Games
The best way to organise your game is via our Facebook Community Chat
However, if you can’t get hold of your opponent, send the club a message/email or shout on the chat.
The club is open every Tuesday and Thursday 6pm to 10pm. There are sometimes weekend openings – these will be published on the website and on facebook in advance.
First Time at the Club?
If you’ve not been to the club before, or haven’t been for a while, below is what to do when you arrive:
- Sign in – upon arrival, visit the counter to pay your entry fee for the evening and scan the QR code on the counter to sign yourself in (this is for fire safety).
- Find a table/opponent – If you’re the first to arrive, simply grab a table and some scenery ready to set up for your game. The first few rounds use half of a standard board so if you’re able to share the board with someone else from the league that will go a long way to help us manage to space better. If you need to check if your opponent has arrived simply ask at the counter.
- Tidying up – once you’ve finished your game put the scenery back where you found it, put any rubbish in the appropraite bins.
Questions
If you’re unsure of anything, feel free to send the club an email, message, or ask at the counter and one of committee members will do their best to help!
