Strikeforce (2000pts)
Groups 1, 2 and 3: you’ll play each person in your group once, for a total of 5 games.
Group 4: you’ll play 5 random people in your group for a total of 5 games.
If someone drops from a group a random player from group 4 will be moved to plug the gap so everyone gets 5 games (and as the designated spare player, Tim Davis will drop out).
The top two players from each group will then proceed to the quarter finals, and so on, until we have a winner!

Useful Information
Pairings
On the last Friday in each round we’ll publish the pairings for the next round. You then have two weeks to organise your game with your opponent.
Reporting Games
There will be a QR code poster on the events board (near the stairs) to report your results – one player simply scans it using a phone camera and completes the form.
Organising Games
The best way to organise your game is via our Facebook Community Chat
However, if you can’t get hold of your opponent, send the club a message/email or shout on the chat.
The club is open every Tuesday and Thursday 6pm to 10pm. There are sometimes weekend openings – these will be published on the website and on facebook in advance.
First Time at the Club?
If you’ve not been to the club before, or haven’t been for a while, below is what to do when you arrive:
- Sign in – upon arrival, visit the counter to pay your entry fee for the evening and scan the QR code on the counter to sign yourself in (this is for fire safety).
- Find a table/opponent – If you’re the first to arrive, simply grab a table and some scenery ready to set up for your game. The first few rounds use half of a standard board so if you’re able to share the board with someone else from the league that will go a long way to help us manage to space better. If you need to check if your opponent has arrived simply ask at the counter.
- Tidying up – once you’ve finished your game put the scenery back where you found it, put any rubbish in the appropraite bins.
Questions
If you’re unsure of anything, feel free to send the club an email, message, or ask at the counter and one of committee members will do their best to help!
