Warhammer 40,000 Slow Grow League 2026

Our Warhammer 40,000 Slow Grow League is suitable for new or experienced players and a great opportunity to meet other club members. Whether you’re building your first army or the latest project of many, you can learn the rules in manageable chunks and use the rounds as milestones to keep fielding a fully painted army.

What You’ll Need
- To start, a 500pt Warhammer 40,000 army
- Dice and Tape Measure
- A copy of the Core Rules (free on the Warhammer 40,000 app or on the Warhammer website) and the rules for your army (typically found in a Codex)
How it Works
- Upon purchasing your ticket you’ll be sent a registration form to register your name and which Faction you’re using.
- Just before the start of each round the pairings will be published on the league hub page and sent out via email. You’ll then need to reach out to your opponent to organise a time that’s suitable for both of you. You can play your game at any point during the round.
- Each round will last for a calendar month – as this is a club league all games must be played at the club.
- After completing your game, scan the QR code at the club and log your results. These will appear on the website live after submission!
League Format
- Each player will player 4 League Games. These will be against a random opponent each round.
- The first round will be 500pts, and then each round the points allowance for the game will increase by 500pts, with the final round being 2000pts.
- At the end of each game, you’ll score the following:
- Win – 3pts
- Draw – 2pts
- Loss – 1pts
- Your Victory Points from the game will be used as a tiebreaker.
- Missions will be announced each month alongside the pairings email.

Our local friendly gaming store in Bridlington has kindly donated a Warhammer 40,000 Organised Play kit for us to use for this league!
The top player at the end of the league will win the medal, with the remaining items distributed based on your finishing position.
Depending on the number of participants there may also be additional rewards for everyone, such as dice and themed combat gauges!
About Leagues at Hull’s Angels
Hull’s Angels Tabletop Gaming Club is ran by the community, for the community. Our committee members and event organisers are all volunteers, which helps keep our entry fees low.
Cost of Entry
Each league has an entry cost to cover website costs, any swag, and awards.
Leagues are played out over several weeks or months – each time you visit standard club fees apply.
If you’re not already, you’ll likely save money on entry fees when taking part in a league by becoming a member.
Games
As this a club league, and to align with our safeguarding requirements, all league games must be played at the club.
Refund Policy
Once the league has started we are unable to issue refunds.
Disabled Access
The club is situated on the first floor up a flight of stairs. Unfortunately we have no disabled access right now – this is something we’re working on.
Each of gaming tables are designed to be stood at while playing, or sat on stools at. If you have accessibility requirements and would prefer a lower table with chairs please let us know and we can provide one for your visit.
Facilities
The club has toilet facilities for both male, female and disabled visitors.
